A sparkling little Chicago five piece, Holdfast are a big carrier bag full of potential. Teasing us with a mere 2 tracks on their myspace, but what joyous two tracks they are.
'Lollipop' is a rollicking little nugget if 'la-la' heaven.Full of sunshine and grass stained fun, it will sound perfect in June. It has very neat twist in the end, going all serious like, showing their Wilco like dark underbelly. But be warned you will humming the INFECTIOUS chorus all tea time.
The mercurial 'Why cant i feel tonight' is what was known in old money as a 'toe tapper', a leg pumping ode to joie de vivre that sounds like Pavement in their Sunday best.
