The give it ups are a sarf Laaahndon five piece purveying happy, hooky twee-ish , breathy indie pop. ‘why don’t you go out with me?’ sounds like a riot in a nursery, with a punky, bratty verse and a soft, soothing chorus. The effect is a bit like rubbing an ice lolly over a sunburned arm.
‘whatever happens, happens’ is milky, doe eyed sway pop with a filthy fuzz tone finish.
The exquisitely titled ‘be my cat’ has a seriously catchy little chorus and is as soft and lovely as a milk drop on kittens whisker. Lovely stuff.
